Late one night while watching TV downstairs...I began seeing those bright flashes of lights again.
Usually in the darkened dining/kitchen area. almost as if someone was shining a flash light in through the window, only the blinds were all closed for the night.
One was right at my right arm, cause me to startle and almost drop the needle I was sewing with.
I decided to call it a night and clean up. Went upstairs with the hall light on. On the way to check up on Dyllan, something "zoomed" by inside the darkened master bedroom. High, about my height, bright and fast. from right to left. Big about the size of a cantaloupe. When it zoomed by it had a trail of light like a comet.
I stepped back to look in the room. Nothing. TV was off, shades were drawn, no lights were on.

I've been hearing things again
And it at times scares the crap out of me.
I'm pretty mellow when I see the things I do, but to actually "hear" something I cannot see and for me who has a hearing problem...is well, really freaky.
I know it's not coming from outside as our windows are shut day and night since it's winter.
It usually happens when I'm concentrating on a show, my art or even reading a book. And always on my right side in my right ear.
Since December, I've heard:
children playing or laughing (late at night)
a breath
muted adult conversation
a cough
clearing of the throat
mumbles
I hear the sounds of walking around upstairs (when I'm downstairs watching TV at night) and always half expect our son to ask for water...but nothing.
I hear walking on our stairs and in the hallways when I'm in the studio. - I can tell you that there is no mistaking our creaky floorboards....
When I'm in my studio working on things, I'm always hearing something fall...but nothing has.
It's no wonder I'm so jumpy when my husband comes upon me when I'm least expecting it.

It's not just Me
I'm happy to say that it's not just me, Dyllan see's them too.
Those odd flashes of light that come and go.
Day or night.
He see's them when he 's playing in the living room.
I see them when I'm watching TV at night and just about any where.
As if someone is taking your picture with a flash camera.
Really quick.
It's not scary...just startling at times.

Rushing
Nothing evokes greater pit in the stomach fear in me ~ more than a "shadow" rushing at me inside my own home.

An Angel?
Up in northern California at the end of June 2009, we visited the Big Tree's State park.
Here's is what appears to be a Angel...
about 2 seconds later...nothing.
But then on the next frame, I get this...and it appears that Dyllan is watching it. (I was not aware of any of this till I saw the images on the computer later)
After taking a few shots of Dyllan, I snapped off a few more at the trees roots as I was "drawn" to their beauty...

It seems, whatever I captured started to dissipate upwards till it was gone.
What a visual treat!

Lingering
Earlier this year I went to Disneyland with a friend, just the two of us. We did lots of fun non-kid rides! Here we are at California Adventures Tower of Terror. A first for both of us. In the main hall, I caught something flying through.
Maybe it followed us to the broiler room cause here it is again with a few friends. And if you look in the next photo, they seem to be fading.

Flash back with Dyllan
We spent yesterday at the Laguna Niguel Regional park for a celebration event with some Fiskateers and their family. Later when we got in the car to leave, we decided to drive all around the park to see what else they offer. A lake for fishing, lots of picnic spots and at one end, I had a flash back to when Dyllan was 2, and we were walking around the end closer to Alicia pkwy, he had suddenly pointed towards a bathroom structure and said "Horsey"!
We were the only ones there and no horses were in sight although the place does have horse trails.
Again he squeals, "Horsey"! and runs in the direction of the building, then stops, looks up,(as if the horse is right there) and turns back to us and says "horsey"
I asked him what color the horse was and he said it was brown. I snapped off a few photo's and got nothing. I did not even sense anything. But I beleived he saw what he said , because shortly after, he said "bye bye horsey" and waved at it as if it were trotting off to greener pastures.
