The Monster in the Garage.

Dyllan saw a monster in the garage tonight. First I looked in the garage to check, then Daddy, and then (just Dyllan and I) we said out loud "this is my house, I live here, you are not welcome here, leave now!" I had him shout this over and over. Later after his bath I had him draw what he saw. I told him that by drawing the monster, it can't be in his mind anymore.

He said it was brown and had a big mouth. He said it looked like it was going to make the scary face you see above.

There is "Something" in my Garage.

Last Saturday evening as I was making my nightly rounds, checking all the locks, I opened the garage to check and see if the garage door lock was set. Immediately I saw a head like grayish shape on top of Brian's car. It startled me and was gone too quickly.

The following day, Sunday, I was in and out of the garage all day doing laundry. When as I was taking out the trash, I noticed a "figure" all in grey to my right. Behind my car in front of the washing machines. I actually turned my whole body to look as it was just "there' and then it was not.

last night (Monday), late at night I opened the garage to check on the garage lock and glancing down in between the bikes, I saw something. It was roundish/ovalish. First impression was the top of a greasy head, then maybe a animal? It had hair or fur in different shades of gray. Long fur, shiny or greasy. Silvery gray, dark gray. I don't know other than it scared me. I don't know what it can be. I wonder if it's from the recent "mega moon", as I've been having increased activity in the house. Nothing as alarming as this.

There is something here.

The past couple of weeks it's been pretty low key here, except for a figure that keeps on reappearing.
Sometimes coming at me.
It will mostly be white, slender and taller than a child.
Tonight especially while I had all the lights on down stairs, and was moving things around, cleaning and prepping for company on Sunday, I nearly swallowed my heart twice when it crossed my path. I know my defenses are down since I'm uber tired but really!
I'm hoping it has a "message" to tell me as apposed to just sticking around to 'haunt' me. eep!
I know...I know...I really should get instructed in how to communicate better, I'm just not sure I want to "open" my self up to that.
It's right there. Out of the corner of my eye and my heart is all a pitter patter.
Usually I get words in my head...but not for this one.
I feel as if it is inching closer and closer to me and I'm starting to really freak.
Oh great, now I just saw feet. Time to go to bed.

What was that?

Last night I was up late making some new wire wrapped Faerie Furniture for my shop. Then I relaxed on the couch watching a movie and had a snack of salted Edaname peas.
Through out the evening, my ears were singing. Sometimes it feels as if I'm in a atrium and ALL the birds are singing. Last night, I had to turn up the volume of the TV because the noise was so loud. I've also noticed that it's a "sign" of something to occur. But since I'm used to the noise, AND strange occurrences...I usually don't remember everything that happens. It's just daily life to me.

The noise eventually faded.

As the evening grew late, I began to notice movement. Shadows, high and low. And a few flashes of light in the living room, causing me to literally move my head to see what it 'was'.

I got tired. And headed off to bed. We keep one small energy efficient light on downstairs. And the glow of that illuminates our room a bit as I keep the master bedroom door ajar to listen for Dyllan.

As I lay in bed, ready to tumble to dream land, SOMETHING - and I mean Something...(black) moved, ....flew, ....flapped .....from the left ceiling corner over the end of our bed to the corner near the head of our bed, Brian's side. I say "something" as this thing blocked the light of our open door causing me to really follow it not just with my eyes, but my head too!

Barely reeling from what I just saw, I immediately felt from the foot of the bed something climbing up and in between Brian and I, like a pet would do.

I froze. Nothing happened. But I did feel short of breath, and I remember laying there thinking that I was maybe having a allergic reaction to my late night snack and that maybe I should get a benedryl, but I did not, I just went to sleep and it never once occurred to me that something else was was making it hard for me to breathe.

What was that?

Zoom

Late one night while watching TV downstairs...I began seeing those bright flashes of lights again.
Usually in the darkened dining/kitchen area. almost as if someone was shining a flash light in through the window, only the blinds were all closed for the night.

One was right at my right arm, cause me to startle and almost drop the needle I was sewing with.
I decided to call it a night and clean up. Went upstairs with the hall light on. On the way to check up on Dyllan, something "zoomed" by inside the darkened master bedroom. High, about my height, bright and fast. from right to left. Big about the size of a cantaloupe. When it zoomed by it had a trail of light like a comet.

I stepped back to look in the room. Nothing. TV was off, shades were drawn, no lights were on.

I've been hearing things again

And it at times scares the crap out of me.
I'm pretty mellow when I see the things I do, but to actually "hear" something I cannot see and for me who has a hearing problem...is well, really freaky.
I know it's not coming from outside as our windows are shut day and night since it's winter.
It usually happens when I'm concentrating on a show, my art or even reading a book. And always on my right side in my right ear.

Since December, I've heard:
children playing or laughing (late at night)
a breath
muted adult conversation
a cough
clearing of the throat
mumbles

I hear the sounds of walking around upstairs (when I'm downstairs watching TV at night) and always half expect our son to ask for water...but nothing.

I hear walking on our stairs and in the hallways when I'm in the studio. - I can tell you that there is no mistaking our creaky floorboards....

When I'm in my studio working on things, I'm always hearing something fall...but nothing has.

It's no wonder I'm so jumpy when my husband comes upon me when I'm least expecting it.

It's not just Me

I'm happy to say that it's not just me, Dyllan see's them too.
Those odd flashes of light that come and go.
Day or night.
He see's them when he 's playing in the living room.
I see them when I'm watching TV at night and just about any where.
As if someone is taking your picture with a flash camera.
Really quick.
It's not scary...just startling at times.

Rushing

Nothing evokes greater pit in the stomach fear in me ~ more than a "shadow" rushing at me inside my own home.

Shadows and Sounds

Awhile ago I was enjoying a evening of "Will and Grace" reruns. I had the Televisions volume on mute and had the closed caption on instead as to not bother anyone sleeping. I was downstairs in the living room. It was at the end of some episode where 'Jack' did something hilarious and I laughed out loud.
Instantly I heard on my right side a voice, as if it were under water, say- "stop that noise!"

Scared the crap out of me.

But that's not all.

Earlier in the evening I had been witnessing all sorts of shadows darting all over the place. I would see them lean over the railing at me, peek around the corner at the bottom of the stairs, flit under the kitchen table and on it.
I was on edge, because I felt like my home was under invasion.
So I turned on a hall light and even a light in the kitchen.
Helped for a little bit until I heard that sound.

Open door

It all started with a creaking. I kept glancing at the studio's closed door. Well not all the way closed, but closed enough not to open on it's own. The creaking continued, then with a burst, the door swung open and bounced back.
Nope, nothing there.
